  • The first World Heritage Day was observed in 1983 and since then, it has been celebrated every year with a different theme. The theme for World Heritagee Day 2021 was “Complex Pasts: Diverse Futures”, which aimed to recognize the complex and diverse nature of cultural heritage and the need to embrace this diversity to build a better future.
