A report in Sacnilk stated that Article 370 made Rs 3 crores yesterday (day 7/first Thursday), which brought the total collections of the film to Rs 35.60 crores. Considering the current trend, Article 370 is expected to stay strong ahead of the second weekend and is probably going to mint Rs 2.5-3 crores and will be getting close to Rs 40 crores today (day 8/second Friday).
Yami Gautam is thrilled with the audience’s reaction to Article 370 in the meanwhile. “When we were making Article 370, so many people told us that this film won’t work with the audience, ‘it’s too technical, too many political jargons etc etc,” the actress said in an emotional social media post.
